Factory, Factory Pro, and Enterprise

The Factory, Factory Pro, and Enterprise packages are built upon a centralized database which should be installed on a central server inside the organization. Clients are installed on end-user PCs so that all users can work with the same database, system settings, configuration, etc…

Other Considerations

Single vs Multi-Site Installation

If using multiple servers, it is recommended to have the APP Server, DB Server, and NAS in the same geographical region as client instances.

APP Server, DB Server, and NAS can be hosted at the central datacenter (eg: physical datacenter or MS Azure) provided Clients and Servers are part of the same hybrid cloud network and part of the same domain.

Network Performance Factors to Consider

Latency - For consistent and reliable system performance, please ensure that network latency is less than 100ms.
