Article summary

Overview

Inspection Manager generates Excel reports that contain a special GD&T Font. Without this font installed, GD&T symbols will not display correctly when opening IM-generated Excel reports (see image below).

You’ll need to install the GD&T font on each computer/workstation used to open IM-generated Excel reports.

Sending Reports to Others

If you send Excel reports to third parties (such as your customers), you should also send them a link to this public article with font installation instructions: https://kb.highqa.com/v1/docs/gdt-font

How to Install

  1. Download the font (icon below).

    176.30 KB

  2. Extract the .zip file.

  3. Double-click the .ttf file and click Install.

  4. Close all open Excel workbooks, then re-open the report.

Your computer/workstation will now display GD&T characters correctly in IM-generated Excel reports.

Our System Requirements require the use of Microsoft Office to ensure reports and fonts perform properly.
