Track Your Onboarding Progress
Our Onboarding Portal gives you 24/7 access to a live overview and roadmap of your implementation.
If you are an HQA Champion or Executive Sponsor, you have full project visibility, empowering you to seamlessly track and manage your onboarding journey.
If you are a Prototyping Team Member, your view is tailored to your assigned tasks:
At the bottom of both views, you will find a total progress bar and a Forecasted End Date. The Forecasted End Date will automatically update based on your team’s current task progress.
Weekly Project Overview Email
In addition to on-demand access, you will receive an overview email at the beginning of each week. This ensures everyone stays informed of the project’s progress and key milestones:
Upcoming and Overdue Tasks are included, as well as the latest Forecasted End Date.
Complete Your Assigned Tasks
Throughout your onboarding, there will be times when you are assigned tasks, such as taking an HQA Academy Course.
You will receive an email when you are assigned a task. This email will contain any instructions, links, or attachments needed to accomplish your task:
Once you’ve completed a task, you can let High QA and your team know you’re done. The onboarding roadmap will be updated in real time.
How to: Mark a task as “Completed” via Email
The easiest way to mark a task as completed is in the Task Assignment email. Simply click the “Mark as Completed” button in the email:

If you need assistance with a task, you can always ”Reply” directly from your email client. Your Project Manager will receive any email replies you send.
Some Task Emails have a “Mark as Stuck” button, where you can flag the task and send us a note.
Message Your Project Manager
The Onboarding Portal centralizes all communication between you, your team, and your High QA Project Manager.
The easiest way to message your High QA Project Manager is by replying to an Onboarding Portal email. Email replies are sent to your Project Manager and are automatically included in the Portal’s “Notes” tab:
There are two types of “Notes” in the Portal:
Project Notes
Project Notes contain all of our session meeting recaps, as well as any general project messages you or your team may have sent.
Task Notes
Task Notes are tied to the assigned task. It includes emails and messages you or your team may have sent regarding the specific task.
Avoid Sending Direct Emails
In order to centralize all onboarding messages, emails, and discussions, we recommend replying to an Onboarding Portal email. Replying from any Onboarding Portal email will include that message in the Portal’s “Notes” tab.
If you send an email directly to your Project Manager’s email address (***@highqa.com), your team will not benefit from the shared discussion and knowledge.
How to: View All Project/Task Notes
You can quickly review the latest emails and messages in the “Notes” tab of the Portal:
How to: Send a New Note via the Portal
While we recommend replying directly to an Onboarding Email, you can also send Notes via the Portal itself:
Project Notes can be sent via the “Notes” tab:
Task Notes can be sent from within a Task:
How to: Tag Someone in a Note
You can tag your Project Manager or other team members in a Note using the “@” symbol:
Tagged individuals will be directly notified via email. Your Project Manager will still be notified if you do not tag anyone.
