Analytics Central is a powerful HQA Connector that unlocks your High QA data for real business intelligence. It transforms siloed inspection and quality records into a structured SQL database that works seamlessly with dashboarding tools like Power BI or Crystal Reports.

We already use Power BI. What value does Analytics Central bring?

Analytics Central feeds your High QA data directly into Power BI (or other BI tools), eliminating extensive API development and database restructuring efforts.

Are any dashboards or dashboarding tools included?

No—Analytics Central is a backend data connector. It provides clean, structured data to feed the dashboarding tools you already know and love, such as Power BI or Crystal Reports.

What do I need before I get started with Analytics Central?

To use Analytics Central effectively, organizations should have:

  • One or multiple facilities using High QA's Inspection Manager

  • A SQL-capable BI tool (such as Power BI, Crystal Reports, Tableau, etc.)

  • Internal staff or external resources with dashboarding/SQL expertise

  • A server environment where Analytics Central can be hosted and run

What if we don’t have BI experts in-house?

Many customers use external consultants or contractors. The connector is designed to be intuitive for teams familiar with standard BI workflows and SQL.

How It Works: Extract, Transform, Load (ETL)

Analytics Central uses a streamlined ETL process to extract, transform, and load High QA data from one or multiple Inspection Manager installations into a structured, analytics-ready SQL database.

Extract

Data is retrieved from the High QA Inspection Manager database using secure API calls. HQA Connect makes it easy to pull from one or multiple facilities, giving organizations control over what data is centralized. This data is regularly extracted on a scheduled sync (e.g., daily).

Transform

The raw, relational data from Inspection Manager is cleaned and organized through pre-defined tables and views. These combine key quality and operational data points (such as jobs, parts, inspections, and NCRs) into clean, consistent datasets ready for analysis.

This includes:

  • Joining related data across tables (e.g., linking NCRs to jobs or parts)

  • Formatting fields for consistency (e.g., timestamps, statuses)

  • Structuring data to match BI dashboard needs (e.g., progress tracking, trend summaries)

Load

The transformed data is then loaded into the Analytics Central SQL database, hosted in your on-prem or private cloud environment. From there, it’s accessible to any SQL-compatible dashboarding tool (Power BI, Crystal Reports, Tableau, etc.).
